Salary Cap:The annual salary cap for the league will be $80. Conversion chartThe salary cap figure from above will be converted as follows: less than (<) 2 million = $1 < 4 million = $2 < 6 million = $3 < 8 million = $4 < 10 million= $5 < 12 million= $6 < 14 million= $7 < 16 million= $8 < 18 million= $9 all others = $10 ContractsYou may sign any player on your teams 2009 roster, WHO WAS NOT SELECTED IN THE 2009 NFL ROOKIE DRAFT, to a contract using the annual cap figure from above. You may sign a player to a 1, 2, or 3 year contract. All free agents, restricted or unrestricted, can also be signed to a 1, 2, or 3 year contract. The salary amount will be determined by the winning bid submitted. See the Free Agency rules for more details. Contract CapYou are limited to 50 total contract years on your roster at any one time. Make sure to consider space for rookies selections in the upcoming draft when assigning intial contract durations and placing free agent bids. Trading contract cap space is NOT allowed.
