***NOTE: When your initial roster is complete (players, salaries, contracts) then you can start trading with other teams whose rosters are also complete. TRADES WILL NOT BE APPROVED OR VETOED UNTIL THE LEAGUE IS FULL AND ROSTERS ARE LOCKED.***
Trading
All trades will be formerly proposed and accepted on the MFL site.
Trade Review
After the trade is accepted by each owner on the MFL site, you should post the trade for review on this site in the trade review section.
An objection deadline, typically 24 hours, will be in place for all trades.
Your trade will be posted for review via a poll, if 3 or more owners object to the terms, the trade must be reviewed by the league Trade Review Committee for final approval.
Alternatively, the league staff can automatically approve the trade upon 4 approval votes posted in the review thread.
***PENDING DISCUSSION***
Trading Future Draft Picks.
If you trade your future 1st round draft pick (i.e. trade a 2010 1st rounder, before the conclusion of the the 2009 season), you will need to pre-pay $5 towards that season's entry.
If you quit the league before that season, you forfeit that fee, and it will be credited towards the entry fee for the replacement owner.
This is to ensure you are responsible for the future of your team, and so it remains an interesting prospect for another owner.
